Portofino is the pearl of the Riviera, a symbol of exclusivity that fascinates the world. Amidst the vibrant colors of its famous “Piazzetta” and the harmony of gardens overlooking the deep blue sea, the village is wrapped in an atmosphere of refined beauty that seems to belong to another era.
The seaside towns of the Tigullio and Golfo Paradiso close to Portofino — Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Camogli, and the amazing San Fruttuoso — are small gems located close to one another. They can be visited individually or combined into a bespoke itinerary. Each village exudes a unique vibe: from the elegance of Santa Margherita to the vitality of Rapallo, the painted facades of Camogli, and the Abbey of San Fruttuoso (a FAI heritage site), nestled between mountains and crystal-clear water.
This itinerary is also ideal for cruise passengers arriving in Genoa who wish to explore the Riviera on a dedicated tour. I personally handle every logistical detail, coordinating transfers by land or sea from and to Genoa via public transport, ferry, or private car with a driver.
The tour is strictly subject to weather and sea conditions. In the event of an orange or red weather alert, the tour will be cancelled. Boat services are cancelled if sea conditions are prohibitive; in such cases, an alternative overland itinerary will be arranged so you can still enjoy the beauty of these coastal villages. Transportation costs are not included in the guide fee.
